Roasted Rice Houjicha – Completely Different from Sencha!

This custom-blended roasted rice houjicha uses Miyazaki roasted rice (puffed rice + brown rice) combined with eco-friendly Shizuoka houjicha. The rice aroma is more pronounced and the colour is noticeably brighter.

Key difference from sencha

Sencha has a grassy, astringent taste with strong stimulation. This blend is gentle, non-bitter, and low in caffeine – perfect for morning or evening drinking, and far richer and more refreshing than regular genmaicha.
