Yame tea has a history of 600 years. It is said that the birthplace of Yame tea is the Zen temple in the north of Kuroki, Yame City. At that time, Zen Master brought back tea seeds from China.

Yame matcha and Uji matcha are both famous for their high quality. Overall, the flavor of Yame tea is mild and balanced.
